The Philosophy
I have spent my career exploring human performance—as a 2:38 marathoner, a 5-time Ironman, within the CrossFit world, and the Editor-in-Chief of Triathlete Magazine. I’ve co-authored books with industry legends like Kelly Starrett and Brian MacKenzie on how to build bodies that don’t break.
Here is what I know to be true:
You cannot reach your potential—as a runner or a human—by doing only one thing. Runners need strength. Lifters need mobility. And everyone needs consistency.
I offer online programming designed to make you durable, capable, and ready for whatever life (or the race course) throws at you.

I offer three distinct tracks depending on your current fitness level and goals.
1. Strength for Runners (The “Unbreakable” Track)
Best for: Runners who want to get faster, fix imbalances, and stop the cycle of injury.
Running requires more than just lungs; it requires a chassis that can handle the load. This program integrates strength and power training into your existing running routine. We focus on:
- Durability: Bulletproofing the hips, knees, and ankles.
- Power: Plyometrics and lifts to improve running economy.
- Balance: Correcting the asymmetries that lead to overuse injuries.
- Schedule: Designed to complement, not compete with, your mileage.
2. Strength for Longevity
Best for: Individuals 35+ focused on healthspan, maintaining muscle mass, and feeling great.
Aging is inevitable; decline is optional. This program focuses on compound functional movements essential for long-term independence and vitality. We move away from “burning calories” and move toward building a body that works.
- Preserve Muscle: Combat sarcopenia (muscle loss) with smart resistance training.
- Mobility: Daily work to keep joints moving through their full range of motion.
- Functional Strength: Training that translates to real-world energy and capability.
3. Foundational Fitness
Best for: Beginners or those returning after a long break who want to build a sustainable habit.
